This topic describes the expiration and overdue payment policies for Hologres instances.
If a Hologres instance expires or has an overdue payment, its service is suspended. To resume the service, you can pay the overdue amount or renew the instance.

Configure overdue payment alert recipients
When your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment or a Hologres instance is about to expire, Alibaba Cloud sends alerts by text message or email. By default, these notifications are sent to the mobile phone number and email address associated with your Alibaba Cloud account. If you want a Resource Access Management (RAM) user to also receive these alerts, you can add the user as a message recipient in the Message Center. The following procedure describes how to do this:

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console with your Alibaba Cloud account. Click .

On the Message Center page, in the navigation pane on the left, choose .

Find the message type Notification of Overdue Payment, Service Suspension, and Impending Release and click Modify in the Message Recipient column.

In the Modify Message Recipient dialog box, add a message recipient, check the new contact to set them as a recipient, and then click Save.
