Why is the running time of DBS backup SQL statements different from that displayed in the ApsaraDB for RDS console?

Answer

To guarantee backup data reliability, the UTC+0 time is used when you run a backup SQL statement during a DBS logical backup. However, the UTC+8 time is used in SQL audit logs of ApsaraDB for RDS for the same backup SQL statement. As a result, the running time of the backup SQL statement displayed in the ApsaraDB for RDS console is 8 hours different from the actual running time. The actual running time is subject to that displayed in the DBS console.
