Billing rules
CloudQuotation uses pay-as-you-go billing. You are charged based on the number of reported professional and non-professional users within each billing cycle.

Billing cycle
Billing is monthly. Partial months are rounded up to a full month. You must report usage (the number of professional and non-professional users) before 18:00 on the last day of each month.
NoteIf you report inaccurate usage or miss the deadline, your services are suspended and you may face exchange auditing.

Billable items and prices
Alibaba Cloud generates a bill by the third day of the following month. You must pay within 7 to 15 days after the bill is generated. Unpaid bills result in suspension of CloudQuotation data services.
CloudQuotation offers usage-based editions and fixed-price enterprise editions. Usage-based edition prices depend on the number of reported professional and non-professional users. Enterprise editions have a fixed monthly price with unlimited usage (up to 99,999,999 users). The following tables list prices for each edition.

Billing example
For example, assume that you use Standard Edition of CloudQuotation, and you have 20 professional users and 5,000 non-professional users who use the app. After you report the usage, the fee that you need to pay is calculated based on the following equation:
USD 17,520.00 = USD 12,000.00 + 5,000 × USD 1.00 + 20 × USD 26.00
Non-professional user definition
A non-professional user of CloudQuotation for US stocks is an individual who receives and uses quotation information solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and is not a securities professional. A natural person meeting all the following conditions qualifies as a non-professional user:

Not registered or qualified with securities agencies, including the SEC, CFTC, US state securities agencies, securities exchanges or associations in Hong Kong (China), the Chinese mainland, or outside China, and commodities or futures contract markets or associations outside China.

Not engaged in work as an investment advisor as defined in Section 202(a)(11) of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940, regardless of registration status under that Act, and not licensed or registered with financial regulatory bodies in Hong Kong (China), the Chinese mainland, or outside China.

Not employed by a bank or other organization exempt from registration under US federal or state securities laws to perform functions that would require registration or qualification at a non-exempt organization, and not engaged in securities, banking, investment, or financial activities on behalf of regulated financial institutions in Hong Kong (China), the Chinese mainland, or outside China.
