If a host in an ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster has performance problems or other problems, you can restart the host on the Hosts page.

Usage notes

  • When a host is restarted, a primary/secondary instance switchover occurs on the host. During the switchover, one or two transient connections may occur.
  • The amount of time that is required to restart a host varies based on the duration of the primary/secondary instance switchover.
  • If a host is restarted, an instance on the host may require a longer time to be created or migrated.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts.
  4. Find the host that you want to restart and choose More > Restart Host in the Actions column.
  5. In the Restart Host dialog box, select Restart Immediately and click OK.
