In MySQL mode, you can create an account and associate the account with multiple databases. In Oracle mode, a new account only has the permissions for schemas.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.
Find the target cluster and click the cluster name.
On the Tenants tab, click a tenant name.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click +Create Account.
Configure the parameters that are described in the following table.
|Account Name||The name of the account. The name cannot contain reserved keywords.|
|Account Type||The type of the account. The following types are available: standard account and super account. A standard account has the permissions to perform DML and DQL operations. A super account has the ALL PRIVILEGES permission.|
|Databases||The databases that the account is authorized to access. This parameter is only available in MySQL mode.|
|Password||The password cannot be less than 10 characters in length.|
|Confirm Password||You must enter the same password again.|
|Description||Description about the user.|
