In MySQL mode, you can create an account and associate the account with multiple databases. In Oracle mode, a new account only has the permission of its corresponding schema.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase Console.
In the left side navigation pane, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click it’s name to access Cluster Workbench.
On the Cluster Workbench page, find the target tenant and click it’s name to access Tenant Details page.
In the upper right corner of the page, click Create Account button.
Configure the parameters that are described in the following table:
|Account Name||The name of the account. The name cannot contain reserved keywords, such as SYS.|
|Account Type||The type of the account. The following types are available: standard account and super account.
A standard account has the permissions to perform DML ,DQL and DDL operations. A super account has the ALL PRIVILEGES privilege (WITH GRANT privilege is not available now).
|Databases||The databases that the account is authorized to access. This parameter is only available in MySQL mode.|
|Password||The password cannot be less than 10 characters in length.|
|Confirm Password||Enter the same password again.|
