AnalyticDB for MySQL:Billing of configuration changes

Last Updated:Mar 01, 2024

This topic describes how AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters are billed when you change cluster configurations.

Subscription

Upgrade configurations

Upgrade fee = (Daily unit price after upgrade/24 hours/3,600 seconds) × Remaining subscription period - (Daily unit price before upgrade/24 hours/3,600 seconds) × Remaining subscription period.

Important
  • If the remaining subscription period is less than 365 days, the daily unit price is calculated as the monthly unit price divided by 30.

  • If the remaining subscription period is greater than or equal to 365 days, the daily unit price is calculated as the annual unit price divided by 365.

  • Billing of configuration changes is accurate to the second.

Downgrade configurations

For information about refund rules for downgrade, see Rules for unsubscribing from resources.

Pay-as-you-go

This billing method lets you use resources before you pay for them. Bills are generated on an hourly basis, and the hourly fee is calculated based on the specifications of your cluster. Fees are deducted from your account every hour.
