This topic describes how to modify or delete a gateway in the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console.

Prerequisites

Modify a gateway

You can modify the gateway configuration by updating the YAML configuration.

  1. Log on to the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Service Mesh > Gateways.
  3. Find the gateway that you want to modify and click View in YAML in the Actions column.
    In this example, the following parameters appear.

    • name in the metadata section: the name of the gateway. In this example, the gateway name is my-gateway.
    • hosts: the name of the host.
    • name in the port section: the name of the port that you can use to access the gateway. In this example, the port name is http.
    • number: the port number of the gateway.
    • protocol: the protocol used by the gateway.
  4. After you modify the YAML configuration, click Update.

Delete a gateway

  1. Log on to the Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Service Mesh > Gateways.
  3. Find the gateway that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
  4. In the message that appears, click OK. The gateway is deleted.
