Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) supports route withdrawal. You can withdraw routes that are advertised to a CEN instance. After a route is withdrawn from CEN, network instances attached to the CEN instance cannot learn this route. If a custom route is advertised to a CEN instance and the custom route is deleted from a virtual private cloud (VPC) or a virtual border router (VBR), the custom route is also deleted from the CEN instance.

Background information

The following table describes the routes that can be withdrawn from CEN instances.
Note The CEN console allows you to withdraw only VPC routes. To withdraw VBR routes, you must call the WithdrawPublishedRouteEntries API operation. For more information, see WithdrawPublishedRouteEntries.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the CEN console.
  2. On the Instances page, find the CEN instance that you want to manage and click its ID.
  3. On the CEN page, click the Routes tab, select Networks from the drop-down list, and then select the network instance that you want to manage.

  4. Find the route that you want to withdraw and click Withdraw in the Publishing Progress column.
  5. In the Withdraw Route message, click OK.
