This topic describes how to manage server and cloud product tags.

Background information

Tags represent the unique characteristics of assets and can be used to search for assets that have the same characteristics.

Add a tag

  1. Login Cloud security center console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Assets.
  3. Choose the Server or Cloud Product tab. In the left-side Overview pane, click Add next to Tag.
  4. In the Add tag dialog box that appears, specify the tag name. In the left-side server list, select the target servers, and click the right arrow to add the tag to the selected servers.
  5. Click OK.
    You can also click the Add Tag icon in the Tag column to add an existing tag to an asset.
    Note You can add multiple tags to an asset. Tags added to an asset are displayed in the Tag column.

Manage and delete a tag

The following procedure shows how to manage or delete a tag. You can rename a tag, add a tag to servers, or remove a tag from servers.

  1. Login Cloud security center console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Assets.
  3. Choose the Server or Cloud Product tab, and perform the following operations to manage or delete a tag.
    • Manage a tag
      1. To manage a tag, place the pointer over the name of the target tag in the left-side Overview pane, and click the The Manage icon icon. The Tag dialog box appears.
      2. In the Tag dialog box, enter a new name in the Tag field, add the tag to more servers, or remove the tag from servers.
      3. Click OK.
    • Delete a tag

      To delete a tag, place the pointer over the name of the target tag in the left-side Overview pane, and click the The Delete icon icon. Click OK to delete the tag.
