When you purchase the Security Center service, we recommend that you do not set Protected Assets to a number fewer than the total number of servers that you own.

If you have already purchased the Security Center service and set Protected Assets to a number fewer than the total number of servers that you own, you must increase the number of protected assets.
Note If you do not increase the number of protected assets in time, the following issue may occur:
  • The features of Security Center become unavailable.
  • The Security Center service fails to be renewed upon expiration.

    If the Security Center service expires and your server quantity exceeds the number of protected assets, you must upgrade Security Center and increase the number of protected assets before you can renew the service.

Issue

In the upper-right corner of the Overview page in the Security Center console, a message is displayed, indicating that the number of protected assets exceeds the total number of servers that you own. You must increase the number of protected assets.

Solution

Log on to the Security Center console. Click Upgrade in the upper-right corner of the Overview page. On the Change Specifications page, adjust the number of Protected Assets to a larger value.
