After an ApsaraDB for Redis instance is created, real-time monitoring is enabled by default. You can use Data Management Service (DMS) to log on to the instance and modify the real-time monitoring status. The real-time monitoring feature is free of charge.

Procedure

  1. Use DMS to log on to an ApsaraDB for Redis instance.
  2. On the Home page of the DMS for Redis console, turn off the Real-Time Monitoring switch in the Performance area.
If the Real-Time Monitoring switch changes from ON to OFF, real-time monitoring is disabled, and the DMS for Redis console no longer updates monitoring data. If the Real-Time Monitoring switch changes from OFF to ON, real-time monitoring is enabled, and the DMS for Redis console updates monitoring data. For more information about how to view monitoring data, see View monitoring information.
Note Monitoring data does not occupy instance storage space, and collection of monitoring data does not affect normal running of the instance.
