Serverless App Engine:Limits

This topic describes the limits of Serverless App Engine (SAE). Before you use SAE, you must be familiar with the limits on the number of instances that you can create for an application, supported regions, network types, containers, and images.

The following regions are supported:

  • China (Hong Kong)

  • Singapore

  • Indonesia (Jakarta)

  • Japan (Tokyo)

Network

Virtual private clouds (VPCs)

The classic network is not supported. By default, access from VPCs to the Internet is denied. If you want to access the Internet, you must configure the required settings. For more information, see Configure a NAT gateway for an SAE application to enable Internet access.

Container

Linux containers

Windows containers are not supported.

Image

Image repositories of Container Registry are supported.

Third-party image repositories are not supported.

System disk space

Default value: 20 GiB.

You cannot change the space size of the system disk. To ensure business continuity, make sure that the size of an image does not exceed 20 GiB when you deploy an application by using the image in the SAE console.
