DataWorks:Feature downgrades of DataWorks advanced editions upon expiration

Last Updated:Jan 12, 2024

If your DataWorks advanced edition (Standard Edition, Professional Edition, or Enterprise Edition) expires because you do not renew it in time, the advanced edition is downgraded to Basic Edition, and you cannot use the features that are supported only by the advanced edition. This topic describes feature downgrades of DataWorks advanced editions upon expiration.

Precautions

  • After your DataWorks advanced edition expires, you cannot use the features that are supported by the advanced edition. If the advanced edition that you use is about to expire, we recommend that you renew it at the earliest opportunity. For information about renewal, see Renewal.

  • After the advanced edition that you use expires, the advanced edition is automatically downgraded to Basic Edition. The downgrade does not affect the running of tasks that are created in the advanced edition, but you cannot access specific pages of the DataWorks console. To access the pages, you must purchase DataWorks Basic Edition that is charged based on the subscription billing method. For information about how to purchase a DataWorks edition, see Purchase a DataWorks edition.
