DataWorks provides the following advanced editions: Standard Edition, Professional Edition, and Enterprise Edition. These editions are charged based on the subscription billing method. The pricing of these editions varies. You can purchase an advanced edition based on your business requirements. This topic describes the pricing of DataWorks editions, and information about the upgrade, renewal, service suspension, and downgrade of a DataWorks edition.
Precautions
The features that are supported by DataWorks advanced editions vary based on the region. For more information, see Differences among DataWorks editions.
Only one DataWorks advanced edition can be purchased in a region at a time. You can purchase another edition in the same region only after the purchased edition expires and is released. You can upgrade a DataWorks advanced edition to a more advanced edition before the advanced edition in use expires. For more information, see Upgrade the edition of DataWorks.
If you have an overdue payment, the system sends you a notification. You must renew your subscription at the earliest opportunity to prevent service suspension.
Edition purchase
You can go to the DataWorks Edition (Subscription) page in the DataWorks console and purchase Standard Edition, Professional Edition, or Enterprise Edition based on your business requirements.

Edition upgrade
DataWorks provides Basic Edition and the following advanced editions: Standard Edition, Professional Edition, and Enterprise Edition. These editions are sorted in ascending order based on the edition level. When you upgrade an edition to an advanced edition, you need to only pay the difference for the remaining time of the current billing cycle. Renewal
You can renew an advanced edition before it expires or within 360 hours after it expires. If you do not renew your advanced edition within 360 hours after it expires, the advanced features provided by the edition are disabled. Expiration notification
Alibaba Cloud sends expiration notifications to the mobile phone number and email address that are bound to your Alibaba Cloud account on the 8th, 12th, and 14th days before your DataWorks advanced edition expires.
Service suspension and edition downgrade
If you do not renew your advanced edition within 15 days after it expires, the advanced features provided by the edition are disabled, and the advanced edition is downgraded to Basic Edition. If you require the advanced edition after the downgrade, go to the DataWorks Edition (Subscription) page to purchase the edition again.
