PolarDB:Configure cluster parameters

This topic shows you how to modify cluster parameters in the PolarDB for PostgreSQL console.

Note

The console displays the parameters that you can modify.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the PolarDB console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region in which the cluster that you want to manage is deployed.
  3. Find the cluster and click the cluster ID.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Settings and Management > Parameters.

  5. Find the parameter that you want to modify, and click the Icon icon in the Current Value column. In the dialog box that appears, enter the new parameter value, and click OK.

    Note
    • You must enter a parameter value that is included in the right-side Value Range column. Otherwise, an error message appears when you click Apply Changes.

    • You can move the pointer over the Parameter icon icon of a parameter to view the parameter details.

  6. In the upper-left corner of the page, click Apply Changes. In the Save Changes panel, click OK.

    Warning

    If a parameter has a Yes value for the Force Restart column, the cluster restarts after you click OK. We recommend that you make appropriate service arrangements before you modify parameters. Proceed with caution.
