The account management feature is provided only by contract blockchains. It displays all accounts created in the BaaS console. Accounts that are created in other software packages such as an SDK will not be displayed.
- The administrator can log on to the BaaS console, click Contract Blockchain, select a consortium, and click Management to go to the Blockchain Management page. Click Management on the right side of the blockchain to go to the management page. In the left-side navigation pane, click Account Management to go to the management page.
You can click the Create Account button in the upper-left corner to create an account. BaaS supports two methods to generate a certificate: automatic generation and manual generation.
- Manual creation: Enter the account name, the public key, and the recovery public key. The name must be unique and cannot be duplicated with the existing names. The public key is corresponding to the private key that is used to sign the transaction. You can create and view the account using the client tool.
- Automatic creation: Enter the account name, account password, and account recovery password. The name must be unique and cannot be duplicated with the existing names. The platform will automatically generate a public-private key pair for the account.
Freeze and unfreeze an account: The administrator can perform the freeze operation when the account is in the normal state or perform the unfreeze operation when the account is in the frozen state.
