Concurrency and storage capacity scalability

The essence of scalability lies in partitioning. PolarDB-X 1.0 computing resources distribute data to multiple ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances by using horizontal partitioning (database sharding and table sharding) and vertical partitioning. In this way, read/write requests are concurrent and storage capacity gets distributed.

You can use specified computing or routing rules to distribute data to multiple ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances. PolarDB-X 1.0 has many algorithms to deal with various scenarios.
