A baseline check verification may fail due to one of the following reasons:

  • The version of the Security Center agent is earlier than required

    If the Security Center agent version is earlier than required, the baseline check may fail. If the agent is not automatically updated, we recommend that you manually install the latest agent. For more information, see Install the Security Center agent.

  • The Security Center agent is offline

    If the Security Center agent on your server is offline, baseline checks cannot be performed. We recommend that you check whether the Security Center agent on your server is online. For more information, see Troubleshoot the problem of Security Center agent going offline.
