In Web App Service, you can view the details of an application and manage deployment environments that run the application on the Application Details page. On the page, you can also create deployment environments and delete the application.

View the Application Details page

  1. Log on to the Web+ console.
  2. On the Overview page, click View All in the upper-right corner of the Last Updated Deployment Environments section.

    The Applications and Deployment Environments page that appears shows a list of applications that run in the specified region and deployment environments where these applications reside.

  3. Click the ID of an application to open the Overview tab of the Application Details page.

The Overview tab of the Application Details page shows all application details and linked deployment environments.

On the Overview tab of the Application Details page, you can view the following details of an application: the application name, application ID, number of deployment environments, number of running deployment environments, number of released deployment environments, owner, creation time, latest operator, and latest operation time.

View a list of deployment environments

  • Click the name of a deployment environment to open the Overview tab of the Deployment Environment Details page. You can configure, monitor, or manage the deployment environment on the tab.
  • Choose 更多选项 > Release in the upper-right corner of a deployment environment card to release the deployment environment. All resources that reside in the deployment environment will be released. These resources include ECS instances and the SLB instance. Therefore, you will no longer be charged for these resources.
  • After the deployment environment is released, choose 更多选项 > Delete to delete the deployment environment.
  • Click the name of a deployment package to download the deployment package.

Create a deployment environment

  1. On the Overview tab of the Application Details page, click Create Deployment Environment in the upper-right corner.
  2. In the Deployment Environment Information step, configure the required settings for the deployment environment and deployment package. After the configuration is complete, click Creation Complete to create a deployment environment with the Pre-defined Configuration setting specified as Low-cost by default. You can also click Next to go to the Configurations step and configure the required settings for the deployment environment.

    Deployment Environment Name The name of the deployment environment. Enter online_test. The name must be a maximum of 64 characters in length and can contain letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
    Deployment Environment Description The description of the deployment environment. Enter the online testing environment. The description must be a maximum of 1024 characters.
    Deployment Package Source
    • Upload Local Application: You can click Select File to upload a local deployment package.
    • Use Sample Application: You can use a sample deployment package that is provided by Web App Service rather than uploading a local deployment package.
    • Select Earlier Version: You can select a previous deployment environment version from the Earlier Version drop-down list.
    Deployment Package Version Web App Service provides you with a version number for the deployment package by default. You can change the version number.
    Version Description This setting is visible if you select the Upload Local Application or Use Sample Application option. The description must be a maximum of 1024 characters in length.
  3. In the Configurations step, you can select Low-cost or High Availability in the Pre-defined Configuration setting. You can also select Custom to customize the deployment environment by configuring the required settings for resources and applications. After the configuration is complete, click Creation Complete.
  4. In the Creation Complete step, you can view the creation progress of the deployment environment.
    • You can click Creation Complete to open the Overview tab of the Application Details page.
    • You can click Versions to open the Versions tab.
    • You can click Events to open the Events tab.

Delete an application

Before deleting an application, you must release all deployment environments that run the application. After you release a deployment environment, all resources that reside in the deployment environment will be released. These resources include ECS instances and the SLB instance. Therefore, you will no longer be charged for these resources.

  1. Choose 更多选项 > Release in the upper-right corner of a deployment environment card. In the Confirm Deployment Environment Release dialog box, enter the name of the deployment environment and click OK.
  2. Release all deployment environments that run an application.
  3. On the Overview tab of the Application Details page, click Delete Application in the upper-right corner to delete the application.
Notice When releasing the environment, Web+ will not release the following types of resources, please confirm whether you need it and release it manually:
  • Database products: RDS and Redis.
  • Resources in Subscription billing method.
  • Resources imported from elsewhere.
