Container groups can only be deployed in Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks that are mutually isolated and have a controllable network configuration.
Each container group uses an IP address in the local VPC network. Before starting network planning, determine the number of IP addresses and the associated configuration for your VPC network. Private CIDR blocks cannot be changed once the VPC network is established. For more information about VPC planning, see ECS network planning.
Note: Elastic Container Instance (ECI) uses the same network as ECS and other cloud services in VPC, and therefore can communicate with them without additional configuration. Container ports are directly mapped to container group ports. Multiple containers in one container group cannot use the same port.
