If you forget the password of your DLA account, you can reset the password in the DLA console or by calling UpdateAccountPassword.

Note: For your data security, we recommend that you change your password periodically.

  1. Log on to the Data Lake Analytics console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Account. On the Account page that appears, locate the row that contains the target account, and click Reset Password in the Actions column.

  3. In the Reset Password dialog box that appears, set a new password for the account.

DLA allows you to set a password in either of the following ways:

    • Random password: Use the password that is generated by the DLA system. Select Use System-generated password and click OK. The system then automatically generates a password.

    • Password: Set a password manually. Enter a password and click OK.
