Configure Alibaba Cloud resources

Prerequisites

  • Register an Alibaba Cloud account and log on to the Alibaba Cloud International site.

  • Navigate to the User Management page to create an AccessKey pair.

  • For more information about activating Object Storage Service (OSS), see Sign up for OSS.

  • For more information about creating OSS buckets, see Create a bucket. When you create a bucket, you must select a region and specify the ACL rules, as shown in the following figure:

Add a cloud resource

1、In the left-side navigation pane, click Cloud Resources. On the Cloud Resources page, click 55to add a cloud resource, as shown in the following figure:

By default, the gateway is associated with resources in the same region. You can also associate the gateway with resources in other regions. Note that if you associate the gateway with an OSS bucket through its public endpoint, data consumption fees may incur.

2、Enter the resource name and bucket name, select the region, and click OK.

The resources that you have added are displayed on the Cloud Resources page, as shown in the following figure:

Delete a cloud resource

If you no longer need a cloud resource, you can delete it. In the left-side navigation pane, click Cloud Resources. On the Cloud Resources, find the target resource and click > Unbind > to delete the resource from the gateway. After the resource is deleted, it is no longer displayed on the Cloud Resources page. Do not delete cloud resources that are in use.

Resource bandwidth test

After you add a cloud resource, you can run a speed test to test the bandwidth for uploading data to the resource and downloading data from the resource. To run the test, click Speed Test in the Actions column on the Cloud Resources page. In the dialog box that appears, click Speed Test, as shown in the following figure:
