You can access file gateways through classic or VPC networks. To access file gateways, you must configure networks and security groups first.
- Access file gateways deployed on Alibaba Cloud
- To allow an ECS instance in a classic network to communicate with a file gateway deployed on Alibaba Cloud, you must use ClassicLink to connect the ECS instance to the file gateway first.
- To use an ECS instance deployed in a VPC network to access a file gateway deployed in another VPC network, use Express Connect or Cloud Enterprise Network.
- Access on-premises file gateways
To access a file gateway from an on-premises data center or private network where the gateway is deployed, configure your network based on the actual network conditions.
