This topic describes how to add, modify, and delete event subscription configurations. You can use this feature to subscribe to various events from E-MapReduce-APM (EMR-APM).

Prerequisites

Event subscription configuration is enabled. If you have not enabled this feature, submit a ticket and contact the EMR product team to enable it.

Add a configuration

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud E-MapReduce console.
  2. Click the Monitor tab.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Event Subscription.
  4. On the Event Subscription page that appears, click Add Subscription in the upper-right corner.
  5. On the Add Subscription page that appears, specify the parameters that are listed in the following table.
    Parameter Description
    Rule Name The name of the configuration.
    Target Cluster The clusters that the configuration applies to in a specific region. By default, this parameter is set to All Clusters.
    Select Event Type The type of events for which notifications are sent. Supported event types include Event log and Alerts.
    Set Reception Rules Valid values:
    • Filter by Service and Severity
    • Filter by Code
    Service

    Set this parameter when Set Reception Rules is Filter by Service and Severity.

    The services that the configuration applies to. By default, this parameter is set to All Services.

    Severity

    Set this parameter when Set Reception Rules is Filter by Service and Severity.

    The severity of the event for which notifications are sent. Select ALL indicates all severities. The INFO, WARN, and CRITICAL severity levels are supported.

    Event Code

    Set this parameter when Set Reception Rules is Filter by Code.

    The code of the event for which notifications are sent. For more information, see Subscription event encoding table.

    Recipients Valid values:
    • Contact Group: Notifications are sent to all users in contact groups.
    • DingTalk Groups: Notifications are sent to DingTalk groups.
      Note To add or view the details of DingTalk groups and contact groups, choose System management > Alerts in the upper-right corner of the EMR console.
  6. Click OK.
    The added configuration is displayed on the Event Subscription page.
