This topic describes how to view consumption status and resource consumption, set consumption limits, start and stop all applications, and start and stop a single application.

View consumption

  • View pay-as-you-go bills

    If you are a pay-as-you-go user, you can view your bill as follows.

    1. Log on to ARMS console.
    2. In the top navigation bar, chooseCost > Go to billing management. In the left-side navigation pane, chooseReturn to the old version.

  • View resource package usage

    If you are the user of the resource package, you can follow these steps to view the resource package usage.

  • (Optional) set a credit alert

    After the resource package you purchased is consumed, ARMS does not stop monitoring your applications. The consumption beyond the resource package is automatically converted to pay-as-you-go. If you do not need to pay by volume, you can set the resource package quota warning. View resource consumption

The ARMS console allows users who have activated the expert edition to view resource consumption. You can set filter conditions to view the resource consumption of one or all applications over a specific period of time.

Monitoring type Resource type
Application Monitoring One resource is one Agent * Hour.
Browser monitoring One resource supports data report once (PV report, API report, or custom report).
  • View application monitoring resource consumption

Set consumption limits

To avoid consumption exceeding expectations, you can use the consumption limit function to control daily consumption. After you set the consumption limit, if your consumption has not reached the daily consumption limit, ARMS will continue to monitor your applications. If your consumption has reached the daily consumption limit, ARMS will stop monitoring your applications and stop billing. ARMS will automatically start monitoring and start billing at 00:00 the next day.

  • Set consumption limits for application monitoring
    1. In the ARMS console, chooseApplication Monitoring > Application List

Start and stop monitoring of all applications

If your application does not require full-day monitoring, you can enable or disable monitoring for all applications as needed.

  1. Select a monitoring type.
    • Start and stop application monitoring.
      1. In the ARMS console, chooseApplication Monitoring > Application List
      2. InApplication ListSelectBt_consumption_setting > Enable or disable an application.
    • Start and stop browser monitoring.
      1. In the ARMS console, chooseBrowser monitoring.

    Parameter Description
    Disable all applications (automatically enabled the next day) After the operation, ARMS will immediately stop monitoring all applications and automatically start monitoring at 00:00 the next day.
    Disable all applications (disabled automatically the next day) After the operation, ARMS immediately stops monitoring all applications and does not enable it automatically.
    Keep running status (not automatically enabled the next day after the quota is reached) If your consumption reaches the daily consumption limit, ARMS will continue to monitor your applications. If your consumption reaches the daily consumption limit, ARMS will stop monitoring all applications. and is not automatically enabled.

Start or stop monitoring of a single application

  • Start and stop Application Monitoring

    In application monitoring, if you do not need to monitor an application temporarily, you can disable ARMS agent for the application. enable arms agent for the application.

    1. In the ARMS console, chooseApplication Monitoring > Application List
    2. InApplication ListClick the name of the target application.
    3. In the left-side navigation pane, clickApplication Settings.

  • Stop browser monitoring

    To disable browser monitoring for an application in browser monitoring, you can delete the application from the monitoring list.

    Notice This operation cannot be restored. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
