Container Service for Kubernetes:Manage components

Last Updated:Aug 28, 2023

Container Service for Kubernetes provides a variety of components, such as application management, log monitoring, and network components, to help you manage and maintain ACK clusters. ACK will automatically update some components for you. You need to manually update the other components. This topic describes how to manage components. You can update, install, or uninstall components or modify the configurations of the components.

Prerequisites

An ACK cluster is created.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ACK console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

  2. On the Clusters page, click the name of the cluster that you want to manage and choose Operations > Add-ons in the left-side navigation pane.

  3. On the Add-ons page, find the component that you want to manage and install, uninstall, or update the component or modify the configuration of the component on demand.

    Note

You can modify the configurations of control plane components only if your cluster is an ACK Pro cluster. For more information, see Customize the parameters of control plane components in ACK Pro clusters.
