How Can Mac Mail Be Transferred to Office 365?

The user may occasionally need to migrate the Mac Mail database to Office 365 due to many reasons. Most of the time, users struggle to find an effective and simple way to move Mac Mail to Office 365. Therefore, this guide will cover both a manual and an automatic technique.

Follow these manual instructions to complete this task:
  • Open Mac Mail and configure your Gmail account in the Mac Mail using IMAP settings.
  • In Mac Mail, create a new folder in the configured Gmail account.
  • Select the emails and move them to the new folder.
  • Open Office 365 and here too you have to use the IMAP feature to set up your Gmail account.
  • You can verify the new folder generated in your Gmail account in Mac Mail once the configuration process is finished.
  • Select the emails from the new folder and move them to the Office 365 folder.
  • You can remove your Gmail account on both platforms after the migration is complete.
