Hello,
Want to reduce the datadisk size from 200GB to 50GB but "resize disk" option only permit for upgrade i.e. increase the size from 200GB to 6144GB. Payment Option: Subscription Disk Type: Ultra Cloud Disk(Data Disk) Please help, how to reduce the disksize. |

Using OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition 64-bit English Version
I setup using ECS Console. When I try to downgrade "resize datadisk" by using option resize disk. It doesn't permit. See screenshot attached.

Unfortunately, ECS does not support system disk shrink.
You have 2 way to do it. 1) Re-build a new ECS with smaller disk and re-install everything again 2) Alibaba Cloud migration tool https://www.alibabacloud.com/help/doc-detail/66372.htm |

Point no. 1 is not possible for us due to several reasons. I will read about Alibaba Cloud migration tool. It may be helpful. |
