I completed my migration to Alibaba Cloud by myself. It is an interesting journey. I document the steps and details from the previous vendor. I also make sure that I have enough time to back up and back down in case it does not work. Some hiccups here and there. But finally I resolved it. It can serve as a reference point for others.

I'm currently using a mix of Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 Business Essentials so will Alibaba cloud helpful for me and more importantly, can it be cheaper than what I am using?

Microsoft Office 365 is a suite of products that can be used for most office tasks.


You can use the following products to replicate the product on your own infrastructure. Remember that you will not have the benefit of a SaaS offering. You will need to build a complete IaaS product:


1. Alibaba Cloud ECS
2. Alibaba Cloud SLB
3. Alibaba Cloud OSS
4. Alibaba Cloud Enterprise Email


Most products offered by Alibaba Cloud integrate only with Alibaba Cloud, such as the Alibaba Cloud RAM, you cannot use it external applications (although possible, not recommended).
