Error Fix for Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock available here. Please have a look

Hi Raja_KT, I didn't try with SUSE, after getting your reply I searched Cockpit for SUSE. You can have a look on this link. I hope this will help you to install Cockpit on SUSE.
