"At present, ECS instances in this region do not support interchange between Linux and Windows systems"

I don't know what this means. Does this mean I can't remote into my created Linux instance from my laptop running Windows7? either via the ECS Management Console in my web browser or PuTTY? What I want to do with my ECS Cloud is create a Linux instance, install some software on it and have it running but adminsiter it from my Windows7 laptop. I'm new to cloud computing sorry.

You can always connect from Windows machine using Putty, Just make sure your public IP is whitelisted in security group rules.

Interchange refers switching OS, In this case from Win to Lin and vice versa is not supported.

Post back for any questions.
