Changes
To continuously optimize services, Security Center will merge and upgrade the [web tamper proofing] and [core file monitoring] modules starting from February 06, 2026. The [web tamper proofing] and [core file monitoring] modules will be merged into a brand-new [file tamper proofing] module. The [file tamper proofing] module will be forward compatible with all capabilities and APIs of the [web tamper proofing] and [core file monitoring] modules. Your original policies will also be automatically migrated. You do not need to perform manual operations.
This upgrade will also bring capability improvements. New capabilities, such as whitelisting based on username and specific operations on specified files (read, write, rename, delete, and permission change), will be added to the [file tamper proofing] rules. We believe these changes can provide you with a better experience.
To ensure the upgrade procedure has minimal impact on you, on December 16, 2025, we will first merge the new alerts of [web tamper proofing] and [core file monitoring]. After the merger, you can view the new alert events generated by [web tamper proofing] and [core file monitoring] in [security alert] > [File Tamper Proofing Alerts]. Historical alerts will not be purged from the original modules.
Impact of changes
This change will not have a business impact. If you need help, you can provide feedback via tickets or the service hotline at any time.
