Upgrade content:

Realtime Compute for Apache Flink plans to perform an upgrade to the workflow feature currently in public preview. This upgrade aims to enhance the scalability of the underlying orchestrator, enabling more flexible and agile future optimizations and enhancements.

Upgrade impact:

Realtime Compute for Apache Flink will roll out this upgrade gradually by region from November 13 to 27, 2025. Each regional upgrade is scheduled to take place between 20:00 and 22:00 (UTC+8) and is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. During the upgrade window for each region, the following impacts are anticipated:

• Tasks currently running in the workflow module may experience scheduling delays (estimated at 1–10 minutes).
• The workflow module will temporarily be unable to start new schedulers or trigger new workflow executions (for approximately 15 minutes).
