Changes

Alibaba Cloud's HTTPS services in the US region (including official website, console and OpenAPI) will only support TLS version 1.2 and above. The changes will be made in batches within the above time.

Impacts

Old versions of browsers and programming languages (not supporting TLS version 1.2 and above) will not be able to access Alibaba Cloud's HTTPS services (including official website, console and OpenAPI). You can find the minimum versions of common browsers and programming languages in the Appendix below.

● Chrome: version 30 and above.

● Firefox: Version 27 and above.

○ Note: Version 33 and above only supports TLS 1.2 and above by default. If the compatibility with older protocols is required, you need to update the configuration manually.

● Safari: Version 7 and above.

● Internet Explorer: Version 11 and above.

● Opera: Version 16 and above.

● Microsoft Edge: All versions.

TLS 1.2 support for common programming languages: (for detailed information, please refer to the official announcement of the language developers):

● Java: Version 7 and above.

● Python: Version 2.7.9 and above for Python 2; Version 3.2 and above for Python 3.

● Node.js: v0.10.x and above.

● C #: NET Framework 4.5 and above, Mono 3.2 and above.

● PHP: Version 5.6 and above.

● OpenSSL: Version 1.0.1 and above.
