Effective September 1, 2025 (Singapore Time), the PolarDB Storage Plan will no longer accept new orders. This change is designed to make billing more transparent and straightforward, helping you manage resources more easily.

• Effective Date: September 1, 2025, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
• Affected Service: PolarDB Storage Plan
• Key Impacts:
  • If you have not purchased the PolarDB Storage Plan before the effective date, you will not be able to place new orders from that date onwards.
  • If you have previously purchased the PolarDB Storage Plan, your existing resources will remain unaffected, and you can continue using and purchasing them as usual.
• Friendly Reminder: If you need to purchase PolarDB Storage Plans, we recommend choosing we recommend choosing the space-based billing method ("Subscription") for your instances. Compared to capacity-based billing ("Pay-as-you-go"), this method offers the advantage of a fixed monthly fee as long as storage usage stays within the specified limits, which makes budgeting easier.
