To comply with platform regulatory requirements, Tablestore will enforce identity verification in select regions. Once identity verification takes effect, you must complete the identity verification process before creating a new instance; otherwise, new instance creation will fail. Existing instances will not be affected, but identity verification will still be required for operations such as renewal.

The affected regions and effective dates

• October 9, 2026: China (Qingdao), China (Zhongwei), China (Chengdu), China (Hohhot)
• October 10, 2026: China (Guangzhou), China (Heyuan), China (Ulanqab)
• October 13, 2026: China (Zhangjiakou)
• October 14, 2026: China (Hangzhou)
• October 15, 2026: China (Shenzhen)
• October 16, 2026: China (Shanghai)
• October 19, 2026: China (Beijing)

How to Complete Identity Verification

Please log in to the Alibaba Cloud Console, go to Account Center > Identity Verification, and submit the required materials as instructed on the page.
