Changes

Starting from August 31, 2026, we will gradually adjust the periodic scanning switch for free-tier users of Alibaba Cloud Security Center Agentic Cloud Security Posture Management.

Free Detection Capabilities Remain Unchanged: This adjustment only affects the status of the periodic scanning switch. The check items, detection scope, and other capabilities available to free-tier users remain unchanged. You can continue to use the full range of free configuration risk detection services.

Periodic Scanning Switch Adjustment: If you currently have periodic scanning enabled and have not made any policy changes since setting it up, the system will automatically turn it off after the adjustment. You can log in to the console to re-enable it at any time — the steps remain the same.

Impact

Free tier users:

If you currently have periodic scanning enabled and wish to continue using it, please log in to the Security Center console after the adjustment and re-enable the periodic scanning switch in the detection settings of Cloud Security Posture Management. Once re-enabled, the system will resume automatic scanning on a periodic basis. If you do not require automatic periodic scanning, you can manually trigger scans at any time through the console. Scan results and reports will remain the same as before.

Paid users:

No action is required. Your services will not be affected.
