Thank you for your support of Alibaba Cloud. The international station will provide a new version of the service (service upgrade announcement) on July 23, 2025. Customers can directly send international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan messages without creating templates in advance.

Therefore, it is planned to offline the function of creating and editing international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan message templates in OpenAPI and console pages at 00:00:00 on September 9, 2026.

After this offline change, if you need to add new message content, you need to use the upgraded solution (see "Response Suggestions" below) to send international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan messages. There is no need to create templates in advance.

For templates that have been created in history, you can still use existing plans to send international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan messages.

Functions planned to be offline:
1) OpenAPI, CreateSmsTemplate- apply for SMS templates, UpdateSmsTemplate- modify SMS template interface, no longer support TemplateType = 3 (international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan messages);
2) Old version console-template management, no longer supports adding and editing templates.
