Changes

Alibaba Cloud's HTTPS services in the all regions (including official website, console and OpenAPI) will only support TLS version 1.2 and above. The changes will be made in batches within the above time.

Impacts

Old versions of browsers and programming languages (not supporting TLS version 1.2 and above) will not be able to access Alibaba Cloud's HTTPS services (including official website, console and OpenAPI). You can find the minimum versions of common browsers and programming languages in the Appendix below.

To ensure your business continuity, please check versions of your browsers and programming languages, and upgrade if necessary.

Appendix:
The support versions of TLS1.2 for common browsers and common programming languages are as follows (for more information, please refer to the official announcement of the corresponding product service provider).
· Chrome: TLS 1.2 is supported from Chrome 30.
· Firefox: TLS 27 is supported from Firefox 1.2. Note: By default,Firefox 33 + only supports TLS version 1.2 and above. If you need to be compatible with the old protocol, you need to manually modify the configuration.
· Safari: Support for TLS 1.2 from Safari 7.
· Internet Explorer: TLS 1.2 is supported from IE 11.
· Opera: Support for TLS 1.2 from Opera 16.
· Microsoft Edge: TLS 1.2 is supported from Edge 12 (initial release).

Supported versions of TLS1.2 for common programming languages:
· Java: Support for TLS 1.2 starting with Java 7.
· Python:Python 2.7.9 ,Python 3.x supports TLS 1.2 starting with Python 3.2.
· Node.js: Support for TLS 1.2 from v0.10.x.
· C#: From. NET Framework 4.5 and Mono 3.2 started supporting TLS 1.2.
· PHP: Supports TLS 1.2 from PHP 5.6 and above.

OpenSSL: Support TLS 1.2 from OpenSSL 1.0.1 and above.
