To standardize product-related information, Qoder will roll out the following changes in phases:

Starting from August 11, 2026, with version 1.24.0, the displayed application name will be changed from Qoder to Qoder IDE.

Starting from August 18, 2026, with version 1.25.0, the application installation directory and related path names will be adjusted as follows:

• macOS: The application path will be changed from Qoder.app/Contents/MacOS/Electron to Qoder IDE.app/Contents/MacOS/Qoder.
• Windows: The installation directory will be changed from Qoder to Qoder IDE, and the main executable will be changed from Qoder.exe to Qoder IDE.exe.
• Linux: The package name will be changed from qoder to qoder-ide, and the main executable path will be changed from /usr/share/qoder/qoder to /usr/share/qoder-ide/qoder-ide.

These changes only affect the desktop application name, application file names, and installation path names, and will not impact existing product functionality or user data. The contracting entity, subscription billing, service agreements, and other commercial arrangements will remain unchanged. Existing users can continue using the product normally after upgrading, with no need to migrate user data.

If you use terminal software whitelisting, security controls, unified distribution, or automated deployment, please complete the updates to the application file names, installation directory, and related path configurations before August 18, 2026, to avoid any impact on the installation, upgrade, and normal use of version 1.25.0 and subsequent releases.
