Change and impact
To continuously improve the Kubernetes container monitoring experience, the Kubernetes container monitoring capability of CloudMonitor 1.0 has been progressively consolidated into Managed Service for Prometheus. The console access entry for the original feature has now been closed. For details, please refer to the Announcement on the discontinuation of the Kubernetes container monitoring feature of CloudMonitor.
CloudMonitor 1.0 will discontinue the Kubernetes container monitoring backend service starting from 10:00 (UTC+8) on September 28, 2026. After the service is discontinued, you will no longer be able to use the Kubernetes container monitoring feature of CloudMonitor 1.0.
If your account currently still has Kubernetes container monitoring data being reported. Please confirm as soon as possible whether any of your business services still depend on this feature. If it is still in use, we recommend switching to the container monitoring service provided by Managed Service for Prometheus to avoid monitoring interruptions.
Action required
Managed Service for Prometheus can support your existing container monitoring scenarios and provides richer monitoring metrics and built-in dashboards. For specific operations, please refer to Configure Managed Service for Prometheus.
