Change and Impact
To continuously improve your billing experience and help you plan log storage costs more clearly, we will adjust the billing method for the Protection Log feature in Anti-DDoS Native 2.0 (Subscription). This change is scheduled to take effect on August 5, 2026. The details are announced below for your reference.
Change Details
Before the Change
On the Anti-DDoS Native 2.0 (Subscription) purchase page, Protection Log offered only a single toggle option.
After the Change
On the Anti-DDoS Native 2.0 (Subscription) purchase page, Protection Log will change to a prepaid storage specification:
- When the selected storage specification is 0, the Protection Log feature is disabled.
- When the selected storage specification is greater than 0, the Protection Log feature is enabled. The system will store and manage logs according to the purchased storage capacity, and fees will be prepaid together with the instance.
You can select the capacity when purchasing, renewing, or upgrading your instance, making cost estimation and quota management easier.
Action required
To ensure business continuity for existing users, we provide the following two options:
Option 1: Upgrade to Purchase a Protection Log Storage Specification (Recommended)
If you have previously enabled Protection Log on your Anti-DDoS Native 2.0 (Subscription) instance, you can purchase a Protection Log storage specification by upgrading the instance. After the upgrade:
- New protection logs will be written to a newly created Logstore and managed and billed according to the purchased storage specification.
- Historical logs in the original Logstore remain unchanged and can still be queried.
Option 2: Keep the Current Status Without Upgrading
If you have previously enabled Protection Log on your Anti-DDoS Native 2.0 (Subscription) instance but have not purchased a Protection Log storage specification via an upgrade:
- New protection logs will continue to be written to the original Logstore, with no change to storage or billing.
