Change Details:

To meet data security and compliance requirements, Alibaba Cloud will adjust the policy for the Resource Access Management OAuth service. Starting from October 20, 2025, all OAuth applications will be set to prohibit cross-site installation by default. The specific rules are as follows:

• Accounts on the China site(aliyun.com) will no longer be allowed to authorize and install OAuth applications created by accounts on the international site(alibabacloud.com).
• Accounts on the international site(alibabacloud.com) will no longer be allowed to authorize and install OAuth applications created by accounts on the China site(aliyun.com).

Impact of Change：

This restriction will begin a grayscale rollout on October 20, 2025, and will be completed by October 25. Applications already installed across multiple sites will not be affected, but new cross-site installations will not be permitted(including apps created before this time). For applications with multi-region access requirements, we recommend creating separate OAuth applications for both China and international site accounts.
