Dear Alibaba Cloud users, we are pleased to announce that Security Center has fully launched the capability to protect designated servers on demand. This allows you to directly bind your purchased quota to specific servers, thereby enabling more precise protection policies.

To enhance user experience, starting from January 13, 2025, we will automatically upgrade all users to the on-demand protection mode, also known as the partial protection mode. This upgrade will bind servers automatically based on your existing quota. Prior to this date, you are welcome to manually manage and configure your quota in the console to ensure an optimal setup.

[Important]: Please verify that your remaining quota is sufficient before upgrading to ensure a seamless transition and avoid any disruption in server protection.
