To enhance security and product experience, Data Management (DMS) will adjust the management policy for database instances in US regions. After this adjustment, DMS will no longer support managing US-region database instances via non-US region consoles. Please pay attention to the following changes and prepare for the necessary configuration migration in advance.

Effective Date: March 16, 2026 (Singapore Time)

Affected Product: Data Management (DMS)

Affected Scenarios: This change affects you if you have ApsaraDB instances located in US regions—specifically US (Silicon Valley), US (Virginia) and other US regions—that are currently managed via a non-US region DMS console (e.g., your DMS data processing region is Singapore).

Impact of Changes:

• Management Console Change: From the effective date, all database instances in US regions must be managed exclusively through the DMS US region console at the dedicated URL: https://dms-us-west-1.alibabacloud.com.
• Historical Configurations Invalidation: From the effective date, management configurations for US-region instances previously set up in non-US DMS consoles will become invalid and will no longer be displayed. You will not be able to view or manage these instances through the old access point.

Action Required:

• Please plan your DMS configuration migration according to your business needs.
• Note: One-click configuration migration is supported only in specific cases (please refer to product documentation or email notifications for details). For cases where one-click migration is not supported, manual configuration will be required.
