Starting April 1, 2025, Alibaba Cloud plans to make changes to the billing of cloud services that are integrated into Simple Log Service.

The fees for the capabilities that are provided by the integrated cloud services in the related consoles, such as data read and write and data storage, remain included in the bills of the related cloud services. The billable items include the index traffic of log data, index traffic of log data in Query Logstores, storage usage of the hot storage tier, storage usage of the Infrequent Access (IA) storage tier, storage usage of the Archive storage tier, index traffic of time series data, storage usage of time series data, active shards, read and write operations, ingested raw data volume, and read and write traffic.

When you use data processing capabilities, such as data transformation, data shipping, and data consumption, in the Simple Log Service console, you are charged additional fees and the fees are included in the bills of Simple Log Service. The billable items include data transformation, data shipping to OSS (basic edition), data shipping to OSS (advanced edition), data shipping to MaxCompute, Data shipping to AnalyticDB, alert notification calls, alert notification messages, Dedicated SQL, scan traffic, rule-based consumption, ingest processors, read traffic over the Internet, and transfer acceleration traffic.
