Pursuant to the Kyrgyzstan government's regulations on cross-border digital services, starting from 15, August 2026, Alibaba Cloud is required to collect a 12% Kyrgyzstan value-added tax (VAT) on the electronic services provided to all customers in Kyrgyzstan. All VAT collected from customers in Kyrgyzstan will be remitted to the Kyrgyzstan tax authority (State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan).
