Re: Notice of Change in Tax Rule in Thailand
Pursuant to the Act Amending the Revenue Code No. 53 B.E. 2564 (2021) (“e-Service Tax Law”) released by the Thailand Government, beginning 1 September 2021, Alibaba Cloud will be required to charge Thailand Value added Tax (“Thailand VAT”) at the rate of 7% on certain electronic services provided to non-VAT registered customers located in Thailand.
Alibaba Cloud will not be required to charge Thailand VAT on services provided to Thailand VAT-registered customers.
To confirm that you are a Thailand VAT-registered customer, please enter your 13 digits Thailand VAT registration number in each of your Alibaba Cloud accounts, or provide it to us via email at: support_intl@aliyun.com .
