Changes

Model Studio will update an API parameter for Qwen3-VL-Plus starting at 00:00 on October 21, 2025 (UTC+08). The default value of the vl_high_resolution_images parameter will change from False to True.

Impact

After the update

Qwen3-VL-Plus will, by default, use high-resolution image processing to enhance output quality.

If you wish to retain the current behavior, you must explicitly set the vl_high_resolution_images parameter to false in your API calls before the change takes effect.
