Starting from 00:00 on July 31, 2026 (Beijing Time), Function Compute Cloud Sandbox will transition to the all-new billing model via a phased rollout across regions.

We are introducing three scenario-specific computing specifications—Eco, Std, and Pro (Economy, Standard, and Professional)—designed to meet diverse requirements ranging from individual debugging to enterprise-level high concurrency, achieving "on-demand matching and precise billing." Meanwhile, the unit price for pay-as-you-go billing will be significantly reduced, delivering highly competitive cost-performance value and substantially lowering the cost of running AI at scale.

Impact of Change

Target Audience: The new pricing applies only to Cloud Sandbox users integrated via the E2B SDK.

Migration for Legacy Customers: Users of the legacy "Sandbox Function" and "AgentRun Sandbox" must migrate to the E2B SDK to enjoy the new pricing. [View Details]

Automatic Upgrade for Existing Cloud Sandbox Customers: Existing users (already on the E2B SDK) who support "Shallow Hibernation" by default will be automatically upgraded to the Pro version.
